Olatpur Land Repurpose Project

For years, the land at Olatpur was used for paddy farming with heavy reliance on traditional methods of farming. Over time, this led to severe soil degradation—turning it acidic, robbing it of organic matter, and making it prone to weeds. The motive of MPS Agri Ventures Pvt. Ltd., is to repurpose this land, reduce dependency on chemical fertilizers, conserve groundwater, and promote sustainable farming practices.

In continuation to the efforts posited by DEFT as a knowledge partner on the role of supporting MPS Agri Ventures Pvt. Ltd., an agricultural company, it has already initiated offering expertise essential for successful sustainable farming.

As a part of the venture towards sustainable farming, DEFT has ushered in various steps to promote sustainable farming. DEFT is providing valuable guidance on maximizing land use efficiency, income streams, promoting sustainable and innovative agricultural methods supporting the local economy.
