Addressing the intersection of climate change and public health, this project develops community strategies to mitigate extreme heatwave risks through the implementation of Heat Action Plans (HAP) and awareness campaigns. By providing low-cost cooling solutions and hydration stations for vulnerable populations and outdoor workers, we have significantly reduced heat-related morbidity and increased community preparedness for extreme weather events.
